You may have seen in the recent press that Chronicled has put together tech giants such as Bosch, Cisco, Gemalto and more to team up in order to integrate the Blockchain with physical objects.
The Internet of Things (IoT) simply refers to – physical objects connected to the internet, which brings both huge potential and great risk.
On the plus side, the transition from ‘dumb’ to ‘smart’ devices represents a change in the way we think such as – cars which drive themselves, apartments which become self-regulating environments and appliances which optimise automatically for each user’s unique preferences.
But every connected device is another attack surface for a hacker to target.

Last week we received our first exit offer to investors from one of our portfolio companies that previously raised finance through our Online Investment Platform. Bitstamp, one of the longest-standing digital currency exchanges and the leading Europe-based digital currency exchange, has joined our portfolio after raising $2,382,161. They exceeded their funding target by 98% just under 4 times the minimum funding goal.
Bitfinex Conversion Pitch Has Now Converted Over $36,000,000:
Bitfinex and BnkToTheFuture have now facilitated the swap of over $36,000,000 worth of BFX tokens for Bitfinex equity for victims of the recent theft. After redemptions, they have now plugged over 50% of the shortfall as a result of the theft and we will be creating a video shortly explaining how they have executed their recovery. Watch out for this in future newsletters.
